Social services assistance is available for all Head Start children and families. The purpose of this component is to link families with local agencies and community services should the need arise. We are available to help families in areas such as education, employment, housing, emergency assistance and other services you may need.
Transition services are available to aide Head Start families from the time their child begins Head Start through the 3rd grade year of public school. Once your child leaves Head Start, we can assist with any Social Service, Mental Health, Heatlh or Educational Needs. The Transition Specialist also works with families to address student attendance issues.
