Information About Meals and Meal Services
Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided to all students by the Head Start Program.
PLEASE, DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL WITH THEIR OWN BREAKFAST, LUNCH, SNACKS OR TREATS.
Breakfast is served from 7:45 a.m. until 8:00 a.m.
Lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Snacks are served to the children after they awaken from rest time.
You are welcome to join your child at school for breakfast or lunch. The prices for parents are $2.00 for breakfast and $3.50 for lunch. Please let your child's teacher know as early as possible if you will be joining your child for breakfast or lunch. Parents who are volunteering in the classroom during and after the lunch period are provided lunch at no cost.
The menu for school breakfast and lunches will be sent home with the students at the beginning of each month. The menu is also published weekly in the Sunday edition of The Paris News and on the Paris ISD website www.parisisd.net
Please notify the school nurse if your child has food allergies of any type. School menus for students with life threatening allergies to specific foods will be altered in order to address the students’ health and nutritional needs. Parents/guardians will need to obtain a Doctors order stating specific recommendations for certain foods and give this order to the school nurse. She will work with the ISD food service staff to plan the students diet at school.

7. Breakfast and lunches are provided in a "family style" manner. Therefore, children are encouraged to use all social skills one would expect in a home setting.
