Welcome to Head Start

Head Start is a federally funded program designed to provide
educational opportunities for 3 and 4 year old children.

Lamar County Head Start is a grantee agency
of the Paris Independent School District.

Head Start Teacher of the Year

Mission: We provide a positive, healthy learning experience for three and four year old children and their families.

Vision: Every child can and will learn and every family can and will succeed

Mind-Set: Our community is stronger because we provide quality, meaningful pre-school educational opportunities

Goal: We will assist our children and their families in becoming socially and ecomocially self-reliant members of Lamar County.

Head Start es un programa designado para proveer oportunidades educativas para niños de 3 y 4 años de edad.

Lamar County Head Start es una agencia ortorgada del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Paris.

Misión: Nosotros proporcionamos una experiencia de aprendizaje sana y positiva para niños de tres y cuatro años de edad y para sus familias.

Visión: Cada niño/a puede y aprenderá. Cada familia puede y sobresaldrá.

Mentalidad: Nuestra comunidad es fuerte porque nosotros proporcionamos calidad, y oportunidades llenas de sentido para la educación preescolar.

Meta: Nosotros ayudaremos a los niños y a sus familias a convertirse en miembros autodependientes social y economicamente del Condado de Lamar.
